About me - Graham Southard

Hello!  I'm Graham and first, I'd like to thank you for visiting my site.  Now, a little bit about me...

At the end of May 2015 I resigned from my job as an Operations Director and took 'early retirement'.  The main reason was to be able to spend more time with my disabled Mum, but I also wanted to devote more time to one of my hobbies - photography.

Ever since my Dad bought me a Kodak Brownie camera as a boy I've enjoyed taking photographs.  I progressed to a Zenith camera, always using slide film.  It seems so odd in today's instant world that back then the film would be sent away and a week or two later the slides would arrive - with the anxious anticipation of hoping that most of them were ok!  Later I moved to a Canon and am now using a Nikon camera, and my iPhone.

I like to take landscape images, architecture, night-sky, close ups - just about anything really, although you won't see many portraits.

My other hobbies are running and music.  I play piano, saxophone and guitar.  I've played  number of concerts, including a duet in the Royal Albert Hall.

I hope you find some images you like.  Please contact me for any further information.  Click here to email.
